If Ken does answer, I ask that all wishing to participate in that discussion aim to keep things civilized. Not overly polite or uncritical! Civilized.

And additionally, stay aware of derailment trolls who just try to pull the discussion into chaos.

I don't think Ken is dishonest. He just obviously doesn't realize yet that he might be introducing malicious nodes into the network with a dishonest AI. I believe that even the best license will never be able to prevent this, since criminals don't respect the law anyway. The only solution I can think of right now is to technically prevent malicious nodes.

Reading his latest response I think he is, but he is making a good job in not seeming so. Probably also to himself idk. He is and was ignoring the relevant questions and keeps deflecting. I can understand his inner thoughts when creating it, that doesnt make it ok though.

If we put aside the cancer case, which is plain humiliating and undignified to bring up in this conversation and context (we all have hard life stories, which we do not wave around as flags to steer away attention from real and important topics by demanding pity, reality tv music style, you know how they change the tune to tell you who you should be sorry for...), what he said actually is that in moment of grief he was gifted something, that helped him. And this is how he says thank you! By turning it into mush and than whining about the harsh response, while NOT addressing any of the valid questions Mark asked. And then shutting the door, like this changes any of the facts - he does not understand what he is doing, he is doing it to alleviate his griefs, he does not care what anyone thinks about what and how he does, his own reasoning and self-righteousness reigns supreme, people should be sorry for him and give him praise for using RNS as some sort of hot water therapy pillow, disregarding any sense, without any humility and appreciation of what he got, without any of the many well argumented questions and points raised in his face being even remotely addressed or answered in a coherent way, he just says - I have a need and I am here to consume. he showed disrespect in so many ways, that even for me, who has not written a single line of code in my life (excluding some PIC16 CPU code in JAL long ago) and cannot even begin to comprehend the mental and physical effort, required to create Reticulum, pisses me off badly. The world is full of Ken's... Reality TV style.

Everyone in life is going through their own battles, but that has absolutely nothing to do at all with laundering an entire project through an LLM in 2 weeks and trying to pitch it as an alternative. That's not "engineering" or "hacking", that's just spitting out tokens through the yapping word predictor.

Nothing more can be done here. There is no changing his mind. I'm glad, at the least, he isn't trying to sell it or profit off of it, but I simply don't trust people like this and who knows if that will change in the future.

Sad times.

Also nothing in the response addresses the elephant in the room which is the fact Prns is 100% purely vibecoded with zero human oversight besides tweaking the prompt a little.
