As a ham who uses the TCPClientInterface to connect to various sound modems (for example direwolf), the lack of the beaconing functionality (which is available for the KISSInterface and the RNodeInterface) is a problem: in my country I have to identify my station every 5 minutes. So I decided to add the beaconing functionality to the TCPClientInterface myself. I named the new interface TCPKISSInterface and it is based on both the original TCPInterface and KISSInterface. It only beacons when the interface is actually being used. After the last transmission it stops beaconing only to start beaconing again when new transmissions occur. It is fully compatible with the TCPClientInterface with KISS framing enabled. It may be useful for other hams out there.
