Nobody wants to type hashes on the T-Deck. It doesn't have a camera, so QR codes can't be used.
I came up with a way to leverage the microphone and transfer a hash from my Mac using a DTMF

Few difficulties until we get a successful transfer:
- My t-deck is v.1 without factory enclosure, so I've printed one. The acoustics of the case are not good and the tones for a-d were resonating and the code couldn't recognize them. I had to stuff some cotton to stop the vibrations
- It seems stereo DTMF can also worsen the process - I have to hold the T-deck on one of the sides of the Macbook so it pick one of the speakers louder than the other
For string->DTMF I'm using a python script which generated the WAV and plays it. For OS glue, I'm using Shortcuts, showing in the right-click context menu an "Transfer with sound". On non-macs, you could automate another way using the same python script.
