@mark your analysis is wrong. I posted a project of mine, yes openly written by ai, no secret about that. Its a long going effort to collect information of 20 years of mesh network ideas. As much a research documentation effort as a try at building something new. Not a blatant copy in any way, also not a mindless journey, also not a short journey.

I am tired of your judgements on people and their motives.

I am critizing rightfully your antagonizing of communities and community members. I respect your ownership of your repo. I disagree with your license.

I think its wrong that you are being treating people how you do. I think its wrong to assume ai==one-singular-worst-case
I think its wrong to assume that everybody who tries to produce code using ai is lazy and attention seeking.
And your actions by using said same weapon (llm) to spur out stuff you would never read yourself purely because ot was openly written by ai is hideous and a weird attack on ken who has been polite while you and zenith has repetedly attacked him.

Its enough, you are showing bad leadership in a community sense.

And i am not alone in my thoughts.

> That is the same guy who went on a reddit rampage last week, calling for "removing Mark from the equation", all because his advertising post for his completely nonsensical LLM slop was moved to the another category on this forum (for breaking the, cleanly stated, forum rules).
point.

So its not ok to post links to projects made with ai but cool to post angry llm generated stuff directly in chat?

> I mean, haven't run the numbers, but I think your observation about it always being anons and people without an RNS ident yelling up like this is pretty accurate. Not a decision for me to make, but maybe it's worth considering whether posting should require actually having used Reticulum, just... at least once.
>

How do you know people dont have rns ident? And how do you know people dont use rns?

You are using assumptions and allegations to shut people down.

Why cant you see it? I have been running a reticulum node on public ip for 3 years, many gb of traffic going through it. I want rns to succeed. But i am feeling miserable because of the bad example you set in governing discussions.

Why cant you see the problematic behavior, just because every disgracefull attack you make get instant upvotes it doesnt make it right

Nobody is arguing you own the repo. Nobody is arguing that unaudited machine-output is fine in a crypto stack. That point is banal. Stop hiding behind it.
Here is the actual behavior that is bad:
You took the general forum — the place people come to talk — and filled it with a machine-generated wall of text you admitted you did not fully oversee. That is not a review. That is a show of force. Same tool you are condemning. Posted where Ken cannot reasonably answer as a person.
You did not lead with a packet, a harness, or a bug. You led with mind-reading: “attention needs of one man,” “narcissist,” credit-harvesting. You do not know that. Calling it “very polite” does not make it so.
A short note on Prns’s tracker — the 89× cell, the shim, the commit hook, “don’t run this on a live mesh until X” — would have protected users. The roast, the red-button joke, the “love and hugs” punchline, did not protect anyone. It was for the room.
@zenith you are admin. Co-signing that, adding “cornball with an NFT pfp,” then answering a conduct complaint with “sockpuppet / grow the fuck up” is not moderation. It is using the house to shut people down. If someone is not even banned, you do not get to launder the argument into an identity smear.
Ken has been polite and is building on a protocol that was put in the public domain. You told people to go build. Then you occupy this room to punish the ones who did. That is antagonizing community members. It is bad leadership. Upvotes do not change that.
I want RNS to succeed. I am tired of watching the people who hold the mic treat disagreement as infestation.
You can ignore a project. You can file a factual bug. You do not need to humiliate people in the village square to prove you are serious.
It is enough.

Those upvotes mean something. It means there are many, who don't see this as an attack or disgraceful, they see it as a well argumented and placed response. And as much you want to project this as some kind of a loner attack, those upvotes, while unspoken, mean that there are others that think the same, but maybe they are not inclined to grind your bullshit and take Mark's very well put response as an ample one.
I have no idea what you have run and where. I cannot see it, because there is nothing to see. Even in a post, where you claim activity, you appear again as just an anon without ID, without anything to show for. With only a bunch of words, words of complain, absolutely no proof of anything but hurt feelings, no objectivity, no reasoning, just blame blame blame.
You all got what you deserved in the face of Mark's analysis. Now take it or disprove it. Show us all you mean something. Show us what you have built for others, show us how you have actually given back for what you got. Put an ID on, a name, picture... SOMETHING OTHER THAN BULLSHIT.
I will give a personal example. I am Bilyan, Bill for short. From Sofia, Bulgaria. With the help of other people, that talk a little and do a lot, I have succeeded in deploying a good part of a fully self funded and truly public service in my city. And I have planned and started investing all my free money, time and effort even before Reticulum actually functioned well and struggled to resolve a path in many cases. You search my name here and will find all my work - in the open for peer review. What else can YOU show, but words?
If you want to come and see what I have built with your own eyes, drop me a line in Reticulum and feel invited in person. I will gladly share and show. I am not an anon. WHo are you?

I am not hiding , never were. I tried posting as supernihil but got errors over and over , then as new user it came through.

I am github.com/sloev and supernihil.github.io
All i have ever done is public.

I have been spending a lot of time building batman mesh and esp8266 mesh. It is the core of an opensource heating production for a community of 900 people in denmark. All is opensource including firmware and cad designs.

Its a real project using mesh technologies as a backbone to provide hearing to mostly poor people.

We are in a phase of transitioning to new protocols, evaluation of rns is part of it.
