How can the unreal be at stake? Why would it be, why would it matter as to command such weight, that everything be at stake? Does this imply a battle of empty, unreal ideas?
If it does, it would mean just a diversion of sorts, taking away will, power, resources from what is actually real?
Or you imply this is where the unborns fight for their right to be born and become real?
Does an unborn idea, sworded down, really die without bloodshed? They are bloodless, there is no pride to bleed behind them?
