When doing rngit --print-identity it returns different hashes :

Git Peer Identity
Repository Node Identity
Repositories Destination

What are they ?

And more precisely, which one of those should I use to create a repo with rngit create rns://

Peer identity is your identity as an rngit client, so that's what you'd give permissions to on a remote rngit server.

Node identity is if you're hosting rngit repositories.

git peer is what you authenticate with when you push/pull/clone from an rngit server
Repository node identity is the identity for the "rngit server"
repositories destination is what is used to pull push clone to an rngit server
nomad network is your website.

tldr you need the repositories destination

• I need to give permissions on the rngit node that hosts the repositories to the rngit clients, identified with their "Git Peer Identity".

• From an authenticated rngit client, I can rngit create rns://Repositories Destination/<group>/<repo>

thats not supposed to happen..
if i look at the manual, thats exactly what you should do
also, it should be rns://repositoriesdestination/repogroup/reponame
repogroup shall be defined in thy rngit config file.

also,i have a lot of storage, i can mirror some git repos if you want

well that's very kind of you. The repo I want to store is just 1 nomadnet micron file so it's not really a storage issue.

But I would like to learn how to make this work properly though ...

The Git Peer Identity is the identity of your git node.
It is used to identify yourself to allow processes, which are not allowed for other identities.

mine is be1bd050dd9ef74615220e9bb146681f

So in the ~/.rngit/config, it looks like this for example:
public = r:all, w:be1bd050dd9ef74615220e9bb146681f, c:be1bd050dd9ef74615220e9bb146681f
internal = rw:be1bd050dd9ef74615220e9bb146681f

The Repository Node Identity is the identity of your nomadnetwork node for this git repository.
Not using this actively.

The Repositories Destination is the destination of your git node.
It is used to find your git node.
'git clone rns://REPOSITORIES_DESTINATION/public/myrepo'

The Nomad Network Destination is the destination of the nomadnetwork page, if activated.
You can browse it using nomadnet.
NN_DESTINATION:/page/index.mu

After reconfiguring, I could finally create my repo with rngit create !

But ... the repo is there but when I do git clone rns://Repositories Destination/<group>/<repo> I get :

Cloning into '<repo>'...
Link established with remote
git-remote-rns failed: Fetch failed for batch: Could not fetch refs

Any idea what I can do ? I don't even have the repo on my system, it's the first clone.
