# Sideband TCP connection

Hi folks! In order to run Mark's app Sidband on an Android device the default TCP connex is: sideband.connect.reticulum.network:7822 . Unfortunately it was offline for some weeks and I tried to take any random "normal" TCP connection but had no success. Any idea why not? Would anyone know why the default TCP was offline for so long?. Cheers for feedback //Helge

Afaik, the sideband TCP server has been taken offline permanently, and the default hasn't been changed. But you can use any of the others listed in the registry here
