MeshChat users, please  upgrade to MeshChatX!

It adds multiline form inputs in Micron by double tapping enter, is on the latest version of micron-parser-js, and has the latest version of RNS, LXMF, and LXST.

Is meshchat no longer being developed?

Liam does Meshcore things now, Meshchat is pretty much in a state where they don't actively develop it but they do merge bug fix PRs and update dependencies occasionally. So pretty much moved into maintenance only mode as far as I know.

No, it's not actively supported. There are "updates" but they are far and few between. The pinned RNS version is on 1.3.7.
There are still persistent bugs for interface writing and saving that can break your RNS config
There's 51 issues and 7 open PRs

It doesn't support background tags, TrueColor, certain field inputs, multiline text inputs, partials, or prepended link data in Micron. I packaged micron-parser-js through NPM specifically for MeshChat but it doesn't matter when all of the dependencies are pinned at an older version and never get updated. 

It doesn't use LXST, which means it's incompatible for voice calls with MeshChatX, Sideband, Columba, etc.

N.B.:
 the owner does not yet seem to port the forum to RNS
.....so, registering requires an email address, not an LXMF Hash

 the owner is probably reorganizing things.

I am working on various extensions for it like anti-bot and anti-spam measures so will be down for another day or two.
